This year sees the 50th Anniversary of the first opening of St Richard’s Catholic Primary School in Dover and they raised the roof! On Friday 22nd June there was a special outdoor Mass, concelebrated by Bishop Paul Mason, in the school grounds. Pupils, parents, teachers and governors attended, both past and present, along with parishioners of St Paul’s Dover, and Our Lady of Dover. The special Mass was followed by a family picnic, and the school fete.
In Year R the children have been waiting patiently for the chicks to arrive. It has taken 21 days but we were lucky enough to catch one hatching this morning. The children were very excited and we hope our chick Richard has some brothers and sisters soon to keep him company! (Actually this is Richard II - as we had a Richard last year as well!)
